Run 4 LAM

Run 4 LAM is an initiative started by LARA to help promote research into LAM. We have a group of about 20 people running in the Perth City-to-Surf race and would love for you to donate to this worthy cause. Everyday Hero is the funding body receiving donations on behalf of LARA, you can donate on their website.

Kate Wingrave with nine work colleagues, all members of the Fostering Fitness team participating in the RUN4LAM at the Perth City to Surf

Did you spot runners in the Sydney City to Surf on 14 August wearing RUN 4 LAM singlets?  By participating, Dr Lyn Moir and Liliian Longford raised $1200 for research into LAM, a disease which attacks women's lungs. If you know a woman who is experiencing unexplained breathlessness, she may have LAM. http://www.lara.org.au/lam/

On 28 August a large group from Fostering Services, at the WA Department for Child Protection ran in Perth's Chevron City to Surf event.  Demonstrating support for their colleague, Kate Wingrave (Read Kate Wingrave's Story), the group raised over $2500.

All money raised through RUN4LAM sponsorship are funding exciting research at the Woolcock Institute in Sydney where important discoveries about LAM have already been made.  See link above.

All donations are tax deductible.
